![]() A great history of these and all the Topps Wacky Packages is outlined at the website. Thirty of the 44 images were later reborn as the "1st" series of 1973. Instead of being printed on peel-off label stock, these were printed on gum label stock, and had to be punched out of the border, moistened and held for ten seconds in order to apply the sticker. The 1967 die-cut series of 44 stickers was the ORIGINAL Topps Wacky Packages series, predating the more widespread and well-known 1973-76 Wacky Packages series. Check out the photos of both sides, as this is the actual item you will receive. The back looks pretty good, and all of the die-cut perforation tabs are intact (un-popped). The color and gloss are nice, but the centering leaves something to be desired. T his die-cut sticker card is in NEAR-MINT condition with no creases or gum stains. In some other instances there is no apparent way to tell the difference for example the tan back Gadzooka Wonder Bread premium is indistinguishable from the orignial, as far as anyone can tell.Welcome to tedjeffrey's Wacky Packages Plus!
